Some family Members of the late President of Ghana Prof. John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills are demanding a public apology from Koku Anyidoho for interfering in the late President’s family affairs and for organizing some individuals to the Jubilee House to demand for an autopsy report.
The Odomna family of Ekumfi Otuam and Ekumfi Asaman, launched a sharp inquest into the unclear circumstances that led to the mysterious death of the late former President, Professor John Evans Atta-Mills.
Speaking upon a visit to President Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House, Kyidomhemaa of Ekumfi Traditional Council and Queen mother of the Odomna Family of Ekumfi Otuam and Asaman, Nanahemaa Enyimfuaa III, in the company of the Head of the Odomna Family from which the late President hails, Abusuapanin Kobina Biney and Koku Anyidoho, said, it remains a key worry of the entire maternal family of the Late President that after several years since the venerable Professor passed, no member of the family can mention what happened to him because none of them has sighted his autopsy report.
Speaking to the media, members of the late President Atta Mills at Ekumfi Nanabin led by Nana Obosu, the Bamuhene of Ekumfi Nanabin, Ebusuapanyin Abudu and Nana Obaatan Kwesi Afful said Koku Anyidoho should be careful and apologize for he does not know anything about the late Atta Mills family history.
According to them, the Family has never demanded an autopsy report from the public.
“We want to state categorically that, we are okay with whatever led Atta Mills to his grave so Koku Anyidoho should allow Atta Mills to sleep in peace”, the family said
They stressed that, if this is what is going to happen, the public should release Atta Mills’ body to them to be buried at his hometown adding that Koku Anyidoho has totally disgraced the Family of the late President Atta Mills.
“Koku Anyidoho is making us suspect him to be the one behind the death of our brother Atta Mills” Nana Obosu added.
They are therefore calling on President Akufo-Addo to disregard and boycott the so-called family members of the late Atta Mills led by Koku Anyidoho for they don’t know them anywhere in the family.
Koku Anyidoho and his so-called Atta Mills’ family members have totally deceived President Akufo Addo for all what they came to him and talk about are lies and impersonation.
“We will get Koku Anyidoho arrested for impersonation” they added.
According to them, Atta Mills’ family members at Ekumfi will not sit down for Koku Anyidoho to disgrace them to the public so the are going to advise themselves and will descend heavily on him very soon.
Meanwhile, brother of the late President Atta Mills who is the Member of Parliament for Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem Constituency, Samuel Atta Mills has also stated that, he does not know the family that visited President Akufo Addo to demand autopsy report anywhere.
