Sunyani: Court remands Hairdresser over murder of boyfriend

The Sunyani Circuit Court B presided over by H/W Jojo Amisah Hagan has remanded Hilda Asomani Embo, 27, a hairdresser in police custody over the death of her boyfriend.

The deceased, Prince Aboagye, 30, was stabbed dead by his girlfriend, Hilda Asomani Embo in their room at Abesim in Sunyani on Tuesday June 8 over cheating claim.

Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector, Agyenim Boateng stated that the accused, Hilda Asomani Embo is facing charge of murder and on the first day in court, the police pleaded with the Judge to give them enough time to complete their investigation.

The accused pleaded guilty when the charges was read to her. The case was adjourned to June 24.

The deceased, 30, who suffers multiple injuries in his neck and chin is said to be in relationship with the said suspect Hilda.

Police source indicated that, the lovers had a little dispute at home.

According to sources, Hilda who could not control her anger, stabbed his boyfriend, Prince Aboagye on the neck and chin with scissors.
