The Supreme Court led by Justice Doste and other 6 Judges has given its final ruling with regards to the Assin North Parliamentary seat.
Five of the seven Member panel voted yes to declare the Parliamentary Seat vacant and the other two were trying to defend.
Therefore, the supreme court has ordered Hon. James Gyekye Quayson to refrain from holding himself as the Member Of Parliament for the Assin North Constituency.
The Electoral Commission and the Substitute Service of the Parliament of Ghana is yet to take the necessary step, to ensure fresh Elections is being conducted in the Assin North Constituency.
