The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has arrested a man suspected of causing damage to a monument and several signposts at the Airport Roundabout in Accra.

The service, in a statement dated Saturday, August 31 indicated that the suspect has been identified as Newwel Gavu, is currently in police custody and will be processed according to the law.

“We would like to commend members of the public and the Airport security for their vigilance which led to the arrest of the suspect,” Portion of the release stated.
