Sources at the school indicate that the deceased had been absent from work for some time and only resumed duties yesterday. However, he reportedly left the campus around 12 noon after the second break, informing colleagues that he was heading home to seek medical attention.

Tragically, news later emerged that he had allegedly hanged himself in his room at Assin Fosu.

In a heartbreaking development, his two daughters, aged eight and seven, were said to have raised the alarm after returning home from school and discovered their father unresponsive.

The case has since been reported to the police and investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of the teacher.
