The Member of Parliament for Techiman South, Mr. Martin Adjei Korsah has presented a 65-seater bus to the Techiman South Senior High School.
In a short ceremony on 14th June, 2022, the MP for Techiman South Constituency, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah handed over the 65-seater bus to the school.
This was upon a request by the students body who welcomed him to the school in his last visit to the school. The student body chanted “we need a bus, we need a bus Honorable MP”.
Addressing the students, he advised them to take their studies very serious and focus on the future, a future that is competitive.
He assured them of his continuous support to the school.
The MP further urged the management and students of the school to entrust the bus into the hands of a qualified driver to ensure proper maintenance of the bus.
The P.T.A Chairman for the school, Mr. Amano Kyeremeh who received the keys on behalf of the school thanked the MP for facilitating and lobbying for the school to have the bus.
He assured the MP that they will constitute a Board to supervise the activities of the bus to ensure its proper maintenance.
The MCE for Techiman, Mr.Benjamin Yaw Gyarko who was at the event thanked the MP for his contributions towards the development of Education in the Municipality.

Instituting MIKAM Teachers Awards Scheme where two teachers have received two cars so far with other items like fridges, laptops etc.
Lobbied for 200 double beds and 400 foam mattresses for Yeboa Asuama S.H.S at Nsuta
Built ultra modern ICT/Library for Ameyaw Cluster of Schools
Renovation of Baptist School in Techiman
Paid for over 520 students admission/ school fees among others.
