Tema Port truck drivers have declared their intention to embark on a sit-down on Monday, May 6, 2024.
In a statement, the drivers noted that they are protesting against attacks by armed robbers, harassment by uniformed personnel, and unlawful detention, however, they are calling for immediate action to address these concerns.
“Effective Monday 6th May, 2024 NO TRUCK MOVES at the ports of Ghana”, portion of the statement read.
The group further announced their place to hold a press conference while at rest on Monday, May at the JAPTU Ghana Secretariat located at the Tema Port.

There will also be a press conference at the JAPTU Ghana Secretariat at the Tema Port (Behind the Agency Block at 11am tomorrow, Monday)
