The Rebecca Foundation received some medical supplies from the leading provider of integrated energy solutions in Africa and Middle East, Elsewedy Electrics to support health care.
The items donated by the company to the foundation as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) includes; electronic hospital beds, wheel chairs, Covid test kits, Nebulizers, gowns and other medical equipments.
Speaking at the donation ceremony, President and CEO of Elsewedy Electric, Eng. Ahmed El Sewedy said, this is not the first and last time we are doing this because we believe in making a difference where we can and that is why we partnered with The Rebecca Foundation for all this important initiative.
“As we appreciate the effort done by the foundation since its inception in 2017, it complements the efforts of government by supporting and promoting initiatives that improves the economics status of Ghanaians; enhancing Literacy and learning skills in children; and improving environmental health “. he said.
Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo expressed gratitude to Elsewedy Electric for their immense support to the foundation always.
“She thank them for their kind gesture and unflinching support always to the foundation. We are indeed grateful to Elsewedy Electric”, she said.
Later in the day, The Rebecca Foundation donated the items to some health care facilities in the Ashanti, Eastern and Greater Accra Region to enhance their capacity.
The Rebecca Foundation took the opportunity to thank Elsewedy again and all their partners and collaborators.
