The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for three individuals, including two assembly members, in connection with a break-in at a private warehouse and a radio station in Tepa, located in the Ashanti Region.
The suspects include Akakpo, the Assembly Member for Akwasiase; George, the Assembly Member for Maabang; and a third individual identified as Mujeed. They are accused of unlawfully entering the premises and stealing valuable items.
The stolen goods reportedly include agricultural spraying machines, bags of fertilizer, Wellington boots, and other essential items.
Police operations are currently underway to track down the suspects and bring them to justice. Authorities have vowed to ensure the culprits face the full force of the law.
Residents of Tepa and its environs are being urged to assist the police with any information that could lead to the suspects’ arrest.
“The law applies equally to all individuals, regardless of their positions,” said a spokesperson for the Ghana Police Service.
