An articulated truck has veered off the road at Aburi Junction, Nsawam, and crashed into 3 taxis resulting in the blockade of the road.
The Nsawam MTTD and personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service were at the scene to move the vehicles off the road.
Several persons have been injured in the accident with some four persons feared dead. Fortunately, some hawkers managed to escape unhurt.
The trailer truck reportedly failed its brake while descending leading to the accident.
Motorists are advised to use the Nsawam-Suhum bypass as strenuous efforts are underway to open the road to traffic.
