The chief of Kotokye and the Benkumhene of Twifo Atti-Morkwa Traditional Area, Nana Kwasi Asomoah IV has confirmed to the Republic Online that the elders would on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, adjudicate on a matter brought to them in relation to a man being accused of sleeping with a sheep.
According to Nana Asomah, one Mr Kwaku Nketiah popularly known as Kwaku Gyato, a farmer reported to the traditional authority that on Sunday July 25, 2021, he caught a 21-year-old Kwasi Kusi, an undertaker having sexual intercourse with one of his ewe.
He said the news have spread wild like a bush fire in the town and so the elders have summoned the two parties to appear before them on Tuesday August 3, 2021.
Narrating the event to the Online News Portal, Mr Gyato said on Sunday dawn around 3:25 a.m. heard the sheep bleating and struggle in the pen so “I opened the window to check what was going on when I saw all the sheep running out of the pen.”
He said “I quickly wake up, lighted the torchlight and head towards the pen, it was there I saw Kwasi Kusi on top of one of the sheep naked so when I shouted, he run away.”
“I already have a case with the same man because he had stolen one of my rams some time ago and the case pending before the elders and now this second one too,” he stated.
Mr Gyato said when he saw Kwasi Kusi at dawn in the pen, he reported the matter to the Assemblyman, Mr Kwadwo Debrah also known as ‘Teacher’ who also reported the matter to the chief of the town.
