The Ghana Police Service has arrested two suspects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at Mallam Junction in Accra, while a third accomplice is currently on the run.
According to police sources, the suspects were part of a group of armed men who attacked a commercial outlet at Mallam in the early hours of Thursday. The robbers reportedly made away with cash and personal belongings from victims before police patrol teams arrived at the scene.
Following swift intelligence operations, two of the suspects were apprehended, while efforts are underway to track down the remaining fugitive. The arrested individuals are currently assisting police with investigations.
The Ghana Police Service has assured residents of Mallam and its surrounding communities of their continued commitment to maintaining security and bringing all offenders to justice. They also appealed to the public to provide any information that may lead to the arrest of the remaining suspect.
