Residents of Sowutuom-Mensah-Addo and parts of Olebu were thrown into a state of fear on Saturday following an exchange of gunfire between two rival groups.

Reports indicate that three persons sustained injuries during the clashes.

Unconfirmed accounts suggest that the son of the Sowutuom chief may have been shot by members of the opposing faction, sparking heightened tension in the community.

The incident has left residents in panic, with many confining themselves indoors for fear of stray bullets.

Ghana Police Service is yet to issue an official statement on the situation.

More details soon…..
