The Circuit Court in Damongo in the Savannah Region has sentenced two Nigerians into prison for falsification of information.
The convicts, two Nigerian nationals, Yunus Ali, 47, and Salawudeen Abdul Hafeez, 42, have been sentenced to four years imprisonment each by the Court for providing false information to the National Identification Authority (NIA), defrauding by false pretence, and possession of forged documents.
They are said to have used the falsified information and forged documents in an attempt to acquire official identification credentials but were caught during routine verification procedures.
