Management of Chiana Senior High School in the Kassena Nonkana West District in the Upper East Region has begun investigations concerning students seen in a viral video using vulgar words towards the President.
In the video, the students believed to be second-year students were seen “insulting” President Akufo-Addo as a result of the hardship they were going through.
The Ghana Education Service in a statement said, “Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) condemns this unfortunate act which is against every educational and moral principle in our society,”
Management of GES also apologized to the President and the general public on behalf of the school and the students.
The statement further indicated that the parents of the students have also been invited to assist in the investigations.
“We wish to also assure the general public that the outcome of the investigations will be more known as soon as it is concluded,” it added.
