The Ghana Police Service has announced a reward of One Million Ghana Cedis (GH₵1,000,000.00) for information that could lead to the arrest of Mark Agingre, a native of Binduri, who is wanted in connection with a string of violent murders in the Binduri District and surrounding communities in the Upper East Region.

According to police sources, Agingre is suspected of killing a man, his wife, and three children on 7th November 2025, an incident that also left another child critically injured and receiving treatment at the Bolgatanga Government Hospital.

Investigations indicate that he may have also been responsible for the murder of an elderly man and his two children on 27th October 2025 in Binduri.

Police are probing additional targeted killings in the region, with preliminary findings suggesting that Agingre could be linked to several other violent incidents.

The Police have appealed to the public to provide any credible information regarding Agingre’s whereabouts.

Citizens are urged to contact the nearest police station or call 191 or 18555 immediately with relevant tips.

The Police Service emphasized that all necessary measures are being taken to apprehend the suspect and ensure he faces justice.

The manhunt for Agingre remains ongoing, with security personnel intensifying surveillance and patrols in the affected communities to prevent further violence.

The reward underscores the seriousness with which the Ghana Police Service is pursuing leads, and authorities have assured that any information provided will be treated with confidentiality to protect informants.
