UE/R: USAID solicits feedback from stakeholders on agricultural development

The USAID Agricultural Governance, Resilience, and Economic Empowerment (AGREE) Activity team, in collaboration with the Upper East Regional Peace Council (UERPC), is conducting a series of stakeholder consultations.

The consultations are focused on conflict dynamics, peacebuilding strategies, and security vulnerabilities across selected districts in the Upper East Region.

The representatives of the USAID Agricultural Governance, Resilience, and Economic Empowerment (AGREE) noted that so far, comprehensive engagements have been successfully conducted in Zebilla, Bongo, Talensi, and Nabdam districts.

They added that the consultations have been instrumental in deepening our understanding of the region’s security landscape, including identifying key vulnerabilities, root causes of conflicts, the various actors involved, and actionable recommendations for mitigating these challenges.

The USAID AGREE Activity is committed to developing more effective, context-specific interventions that foster a more resilient and peaceful environment within these communities.
