A Ugandan man who was reported to be missing two days before his wedding has told the police he was just resting, state-owned New Vision newspaper reported.
Patrick Mbusa Kabagambe surrendered to the police and said he was at a friend’s house.
Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesman Luke Owoyesigyire said the man said he was just stressed and took some time to rest.
He told the police that he had cancelled the wedding on Thursday and informed everyone before heading off to his friend’s house.
Mr Kabagambe told the police to consider the case a family matter.
His would-be-bride had reported his disappearance to the police in Kasangati, central Uganda.
