The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is impressed with the progress of work done on projects in the South Dayi District in the Volta Region.
The president who is on a tour in the region is inspecting some ongoing works on the Eastern Corridor Road and other infrastructural projects in South Dayi
The president inspected works on the Agenda 111 Hospital projects at Kpeve which is about 20 percent complete and the Asikuma Junction to the Have stretch of the Eastern Corridor Road which is also about 75 percent complete.
In his remarks on the inspected projects, the president said he is impressed with what has been done so far.
According to Kwasi Amoako-Atta, Minister of Roads and Highway Authority, the Asikuma junction to Have project on the Eastern Corridor Road is expected to be completed in 2024.
Twelve (12) other projects are currently taking place on various sections of the Eastern Corridor Road and are also expected to be completed in October next year.
