According to reports, he suffered burns covering 44% of his body, including respiratory injuries that left him struggling to breathe.

Judith Addison of Beyond Burns International, a non-profit organization supporting burns survivors, had confirmed Semevor’s condition in a video report, stating that his life was “hanging in the balance.”

Semevo’s passing has sent shockwaves through Ghana’s entertainment industry, where he was celebrated for his exceptional acting talent on stage and screen.

His notable film credits include “Harvest at 17,” “A Stab in the Dark,” “Escape of Love,” “Like Cotton Twines,” and “The Good Old Days: The Love of AA.” He also featured in a popular youth Tv series titled YOLO.

Tributes are pouring in from fellow actors, including Ken Fiati and Edinam Atasti, who had earlier confirmed Semevo’s condition.

The Ghanaian film community will deeply miss this talented actor, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
