The popular Ghanaian music award event, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is said to happen live this weekend at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre. It is a two (2) days program happening on 6th and 7th May, 2022.
The 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is an annual music festival show which was started in 1999 and this year’s occurs to be the 23rd edition.
It serves as a platform to award hardworking musicians and industry players . Some of the Categories for the upcoming event include; Producer of the year, Male vocalist of the year, Female vocalist of the year, Gospel song of the year, Gospel artiste of the year, Dancehall artiste of the year, Artiste of the year and many more.
The most anticipated category of this year’s show happens to be the Artiste of the year. Artistes who were nominated for this category were; Kidi, Blacko, King promise, Joe Mettle Sarkodie and. Kuami Eugene.
This category had a lot of people talking because it has artistes who seems to have really done well in the music industry both last year and this year.
last year’s edition was organized privately due to the pandemic but this year’s show is opened to the public and tickets are available for cool prices .

The show will be aired on Media General’s Tv3 , EiB ‘s Ghonetv and Akwaaba magic channel 150 on DSTV .
