Urban Gospel artiste, Kobby Salm has said that organizers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) have no special plan for winners of the Unsung category.
According to the Vodafone Ghana Music Award Best Gospel Song of the year 2021 nominee, ever since the award scheme was introduced in 2014, there have not been any special recommendations or plans for winners to be on bigger platforms to showcase and exhibit their talents to the world.
He further stated that the winner of the Unsung category previously won by Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene and Rufftown records signee, Wendy Shay have only performed on the night of the main event and not on other platforms as winners of that category.
He made this comment after the organizers called for interested persons for the Unsung category for this year’s award scheme to file their nominations.
