The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has announced the closure of the VVIP Lounge at the Kotoka International Airport temporarily for renovation works to begin.

In a statement, the VVIP lounge will be closed to the public effective today Tuesday, January 31, 2023, for two weeks.

“The aim of the closure is to restructure the lounge for efficient travel and also meet international standards”, the ministry said.

The ministry apologizes for any inconvenience this new directive may cause and advised the general public to patronize the Commercial Important Person (CIP) lounge and business lounge at terminal 3 for the time being as it works on improving the standards at the VVIP lounge.
