Abdul Salam, 31, a farmer at Adidaase near Manso Amenfi in the Wassa Amenfi District of the Western Region murdered his 6-year-old son by severing his head and legs and hid them in a bush.
The young boy had been reported missing prompting a search for him in the area, but little did they know his own father had butchered the little boy.
After a fruitless search, Abdul Salam was interrogated during which he confessed murdering his son to sell his head and legs.
The suspect is believed to have committed the heinous crime for money ritual, according to police in Asankragua.
