A 480-bed dormitory facility has been completed and handed over to the Fiaseman Senior High School in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality of the Western Region.
Speaking at the handing-over ceremony, the Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah said, “The event was a demonstration of government commitment to building educational infrastructures as well as ensuring that our schools are resourced for effective teaching and learning. I emphasized that government would continue to provide the leadership that enables development in our educational sector. I charged the leadership of Fiasec to ensure that the facility serves its intended purpose and also, maintained accordingly”.
The Headmaster of Fiaseman Senior High School expressed his gratitude to the Regional Minister, Member of Parliament and the Municipal Chief Executive for the project and promised that the facility would be put to good use by the students.
Present at the commissioning was Hon. George Mireku Duker, MP for Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency, who doubles as the Deputy Lands and Natural Resources Minister, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Benjamin Kessie and other equally important dignitaries.
