The main road linking Wassa Akropong and Bogoso has been partially blocked after a gory accident claimed lives.
According to reports, vehicles and tricycles within the space of the accident scene suffered casualties as a timber truck fell on private cars killing two people on the spot and many others injured.
Passengers in the affected tricycles and cars foresaw the timber truck reversing and fled for their lives.
Police have taken over the scene and an investigation is said to have begun into the accident.
However, some eyewitnesses believe that the break of the timber truck failed which hence caused the accident.
