A twenty-nine-year-old national service personnel has allegedly committed suicide by hanging at Bibiani D-Line in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
Yaw Robert Agbeshie alias Woyome, a trained teacher was found hanging in his bedroom Friday morning.
According to reports, he did not leave any note nor did he show any suicidal thoughts to persons close to him.
“He came to do his service here that is how I knew him. I heard this morning that he has committed suicide. I couldn’t believe it. We even played football with him yesterday then he rushed to bath and went to church” some friends of the deceased sadly recounted.
Robert Yaw Agbeshie was believed to be a dedicated and devoted Christian who was punctual in church activities.
Prophet Bennett Ohene Gyan, founder and leader of King Jesus Alive Ministry International where he worshipped was utterly shocked.
“He didn’t joke with his church fellowship with us, but because of school and work outside the town, he has not been very punctual as he used to be for about a year now.
However, when he returned recently, he told me he wanted to be an usher in the church from next Sunday” Prophet Benett said.
The body has been taken by police to Bibiani Government hospital morgue.
This has been the third suicide case recorded in less than seven days and the fifth suicide case reported in January this year.
These cases have all been recorded in the Eastern and Western regions.
