An 18-year-old pregnant girl has lost her life at the Manso-Amenfi Government Hospital in the Wassa-Amenfi Central District of the Western region.
According to reports, the deceased died, as a result of a delay in receiving medical attention at the facility.
Bright Agyemfra, the reporter said, Joyce Mensah(the deceased) died shortly after delivery due to delays in medical care.
The 18-year-old pregnant woman was left unattended for hours while she was wallowing on the floor at the hospital in pain.
After she received care, Joyce died shortly after delivering the baby from severe pains and body weakness.
The incident happened on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
She has been buried according to Muslim customs.
A video showed miss Joyce Mensah (deceased) being laid on while she was still alive at the hospital.
Her Sister-in-law, Blessing Mensah, who sent her to the hospital also explained to Bright Agyemfra what actually happened.
