There is a brewing tension in Wassa Pensanom in the Wassa Amenfi Central of the Western Region as residents vow to clash with illegal miners (galamseyers) in the community.
According to the aggrieved residents, their only source of water has been destroyed by these illegal mining activities.
They have hence charged the illegal miners to provide them with portable water; otherwise, there will be a “bloody clash” between the residents and the Galamseyers.
