WAEC releases 2025 WASSCE provisional results

According to a statement issued on November 29, 2025, the results have been uploaded online, and candidates may access them through the Council’s website, www.waecgh.org. Heads of schools have also been provided with login details to check results for their candidates.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the provisional results for candidates who sat for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates in Ghana.

According to a statement issued on November 29, 2025, the results have been uploaded online, and candidates may access them through the Council’s website, www.waecgh.org. Heads of schools have also been provided with login details to check results for their candidates.

WAEC cautioned the public, especially candidates and parents, to beware of fraudsters who claim they can upgrade results for a fee. The Council stressed that its results are fully secured and can be verified using its official verification system.

According to WAEC, a total of 461,736 candidates from 1,021 schools registered for the 2025 examination. This represents a slight increase of 0.24% compared to the 2024 entry figure of 460,611. Out of the total number, 5,821 candidates (1.26%) were absent.
