A young girl in Accra has donated an undisclosed amount to a radio station as her widow’s mite to support the less privileged children in society.
In a short video post on social media, the young girl disclosed her reason for giving her savings to support such noble activity.
“I decided to save some money in my susu box to support the less privileged kids in society. I realised that life is still difficult for some of us who even have both parents alive.” She said
According to her mother, her daughter saved the money in her ‘susu’ box to support her colleagues who are unable to feed.
Her gesture has since been commended by many on social media.
