The Head Pastor of Mt. Zion Methodist Church, Sakumono, Rev. Dr Solomon Nortey says he regrets choosing President Akufo-Addo over Mahama during the 2020 general elections.
Rev. Dr Solomon Nortey who is displeased with the NPP’s Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led government over the current state of the economy vented his frustration during Sunday service.
According to him, it is completely out of order for the NPP government to use individuals’ life investments to restructure the government’s debt.
Rev. Nortey noted that Ghanaians are living in despair since their living standards have not improved.
“Before God and man, I voted for President Akufo-Addo, I’m not shy to say it but I’ve regretted doing that. If you ask my mother, I fought them at home because she is a strong NDC. I told them the new era that is coming is the era of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo but he also came to deceive us. We’re tired. If you’re not tired, for me I’m tired.” Rev. Dr Solomon Nortey of Mt. Zion Methodist Church Sakumono.
