The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has launched its 2024 election manifesto on Sunday, August 18, 2024, in Takoradi, Western Region.
The governing party presented its plans and strategies for resolving the problems facing the country.
During his remarks, the vice president and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia stated that the manifesto will prioritise finding answers to the nation’s unemployment problem.
He mentioned that there will be no tax on digital transactions, meaning the E-levy will be abolished, the betting tax will be removed, and a flat rate tax for businesses will be introduced.
