The controversy between the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) and Charles Bissue continues to heat up as the OSP has indicated that it possesses the power to arrest suspects without a warrant.
The OSP took to Twitter shortly after the lawyers of Charles Bissue secured an interim injunction to prevent their client from being arrested by the Special Prosecutor.
“The general public is advised, that in the exercise of its police powers, the Office of the Special Prosecutor can arrest without a warrant, any person it reasonably suspects of having committed corruption or corruption-related offenses.”
