Black Meteors goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has admitted that their second group A match against host nation Morocco will be tough but said his side is well prepared for the task ahead.

Ghana defeated Congo 3-2 on Sunday to boost their chances of qualifying for the 2024 Olympic Games in France.

Meanwhile, the Black Meteors will come up against Morocco in their second game on Tuesday evening.

Speaking in a pre-match press conference ahead of the game, Danlad Ibrahim said his side is very focused as they are aware of the task ahead of them.

“We know what is at stake tomorrow. If we get to win, definitely we will qualify for the next stage. We will just learn our mistakes from the previous game and go all out, concentrate for 90 minutes and hopefully get a win,” he stated.

In the game against Congo, Ghana almost gave away a 3-0 lead, allowing their opponent to score two quick goals in one minute.

However, Danlad emphasized that it was because of inexperience from his team, and added that they will be more focused against Morocco until the end of 90 minutes.

“After the game, all the players were not happy because of what happened, and it is normal that is a game of football. A lot of us do not have this kind of experience. For me, I know when you lose a little bit of concentration it can bring things like that so I think all the guys have learnt from the previous game.

“With the technical team, they will just bring everyone on board and know how to go in the next game.”
