Mohammed Kudus says the Back Stars team have accepted responsibility for their poor performance that resulted in their early exit from the ongoing World Cup tournament in Qatar exiting.

Many Ghanaians had hoped that this current squad of the Black Stars would go far in this year’s world cup but it turned out to be a disappointing campaign for the national team, losing to Portugal and Uruguay, and a win against South Korea.

The Ajax star man on social media revealed that the team have accepted that they let the country down but is optimistic that they will improve in subsequent competitions.

“A team is like a puzzle; every jigsaw piece is important to solve a problem or complete a picture.
“When Ghana needed us the most, collectively by our arts we painted an unpleasant picture souring 12 years of pain.

“As a team, we take responsibility for letting Ghana down but we pick the positives to grow.

“History has proven that the most valuable arts came from good to great with time and purpose.
“Thank you for the love and support Ghana.”
