Prophetess Esther Bediako, the General Overseer of Samaria Miracle Church has lamented that marijuana smokers and fornicators are gradually taking over Christianity.

According to her, the youth nowadays are addicted to illegal substances and mostly lust after the flesh.

She added that husbands and wives do not respect each other as Christians.

She pleaded that individuals and the general public should take God as their Lord and Saviour in life and should desist from any unwholesome attitude or behaviour towards each other.

Prophetess Esther Bediako made this assertion during the annual harvest conference of the Samaria Miracle Church at Mankessim-Baifikrom in the Mfantseman municipality of the Central region.

The Member of Parliament of Mfantsiman Constituency, Hon. Ophelia Mensah Hayford who paid a courtesy call also admitted, “things are not easy at all as we are heading towards Christmas” but called on the youth to abstain from sexual immorality, smoking of marijuana, and robbery among others, urged them to submit themselves in the hands of God.

She also pleaded with parents to take good care of their children to abstain from occultism, robbery, and rituals but to shape them in God’s way because “it’s our responsibilities as parents to look after our daughters and sons. Although we’re not in normal times but shouldn’t border our minds to leave our children like that. Wishing everyone happy Christmas in advance.”
