Management of the Parliamentary Service of Ghana is urging the general public to disregard any email received concerning the recruitment of personnel to the Service.
In a statement released on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, the Service noted, “It has come to our notice that some job seekers have received emails from the operators of a fraudulent scheme requesting prospective applicants to pay various sums of money to guarantee their employment in the Parliamentary Service. The Management of Parliamentary Service wishes to state categorically that it is not undertaking any recruitment exercise nor has the Service authorized, sanctioned, or mandated any third party to carry out any recruitment on its behalf.”
The Parliamentary Service further emphasized that just like any “Government institution, it places adverts in the media to solicit applications from prospective job seekers when there is a vacancy. Successful applicants are then officially contacted by the Service to attend an interview, which comes at no fee”.
It is therefore advising the general public to disregard any email or calls purporting to be emanating from Parliament, soliciting for monies to facilitate the chances of getting the job.
