English Premier League club West Ham United have opened talks with Ajax to sign midfielder Mohammed Kudus, as per Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano.
According to Fabrizio, both clubs have begun initial talks to reach an agreement for the Black Stars midfielder.
However, he reports that a move for Kudus could materialize if West Ham sanction the sale of Lucas Paqueta, who is a target for Manchester City.
This comes after earlier reports that Brighton and Hove Albion had agreed a deal with Ajax to sign the highly-rated Ghanaian international.
The 23-year-old is also on the radar of some other Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Arsenal.
Kudus was in excellent form, as he scored his first goal of the season in their season opener against Heracles over the weekend.
