We’ve confidence in current leadership, no plans for change – Majority Caucus

Earlier reports suggested that, with the appointment of the first Majority Chief Whip, Lydia Seyram Alhassan as Minister Designate at the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources, creating a vacancy in the front bench, the leadership of the side is expected to change.

Meanwhile speaking on behalf of the Majority Caucus at a brief press conference on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, the first deputy speaker said “publications going round are not true. The Majority Caucus has not contemplated making changes to its leadership and has not made any changes”

He stressed that the Majority Caucus continues to have faith and confidence in the leadership as they are.

However, he revealed that the vacancy created in the leadership after the ministerial leadership will be filled at the right time by the Caucus.
