Coach Otto Addo has disclosed that Ghana have learnt their lessons from their last game.
The Black Stars played their second match in group H against South Korea, winning by 3 goals to 2.
Ghana was 2 nil up in the first half against the Koreans but lost focus, allowing them to cancel the two-goal lead in just three minutes thanks to Mohammed Kudus’s fine finish, the Black Stars secured a victory.
Speaking at the pre-match conference before the Uruguay game, coach Otto Addo said that his team have learnt their lessons and wants to get better as they progress.
“Surely, we want to bring out the best of our players, but in the course of games things can change and if you see the last game, we were two nil up and all of a sudden, things changed so it’s also a mind game and we hopefully took our lessons from the last game.
“We have a lot of inexperienced players. Some just had their debuts in the last two matches and so it’s not that easy but we are getting more experience and for us, it’s about getting better every day and learning every day.” He ended.
Ghana will play tomorrow at the Al Janoub Stadium against Uruguay.
