We’ve the capacity to win next election – MP for Bibiani-Anhiwiaso

The Member of Parliament for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Hon. Alfred Obeng-Boateng has expressed optimism about the ruling party retaining power in the upcoming General Election.

In an interaction with a section of the Constituency Executives and party faithful at his private residence in Kojina/ Subiri Nkwanta, the MP never minced words in encouraging his supporters.

Citing the numerous interventions and projects rolled out by the government, he was sure of winning the next General Elections.

According to the Member of Parliament, Free SHS, STEM Schools, 1D1F, 1V1D, Planting for food and jobs, Digitization, massive recruitment of the youth into the various government agencies, massive road infrastructure and interchanges to ease traffic congestion in the cities are a few realities on the ground for Ghanaians to do the comparative analysis.

The MP’s contributions to the development of the Constituency leave much to be desired, 20 mechanized boreholes, 6 toilet facilities, oil palm, and rubber seedlings for farmers, scholarships, employment opportunities for the youth, and apprenticeship programmes for the youth.

In his final address, the MP thanked God and the President of the Republic for nominating his preferred candidate as MCE for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality.

He however pleaded with the Assembly Members to endorse the President’s nominee to fast-track development in the Municipality.

The MCE nominee Mr. Paul Andoh thanked the gathering for the unflinching support for his candidature and solicited prayers for his confirmation.

Mr. Godwin Oppong, President of Friends of Approachers also expressed his gratitude to the MP for the support and promised to offer his best to sustain the volunteer group.

Later, Hon. Alfred Obeng-Boateng inspected the bituminous surfacing of 5.8 km Adupri-Tanoso road and interacted with the workers and the Engineers. The MP was pleased with the progress of work and urged them to speed up to meet the deadline.
