The World Health Organization (WHO) has warn of a dire consequences should Nigerian government fail to address the increasingly migration of health professionals in the country to the United Kingdom (UK).

According to the WHO, More than 15,000 Nigerian nurses has moved to UK in the last five years.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has alerted Nigerian government of a looming shortage of over 50,000 doctors and 137,000 nurses by 2030 if the Nigerian government does not work on it.

The Nigerian government has successfully made Nigeria a hell pit for her citizens. The struggles humans face in Nigeria is definitely not for the fainted-heart. Most people are just working and hoping for better days.

Meanwhile, studies argued that, It’s a positive and bad news also, the truth is the government is not trying to equip the hospitals, whiles there’s no allowances for the health sector employees unlike most sectors in Nigeria government.

Another school of taught revealed that, Nigerian government cannot afford to employ all professional nurses, which means only private hospitals can do something at this time.

In reality, government needs more budget on competitive salaries. In  South Africa, the government is employing more Nigerian doctors because the country has shortage of doctors in the government hospitals because more doctors moved to private hospitals.
