A suspected ritual killing has occured at Weija Junction in the Weija-Gbawe Municipality, following the discovery of the lifeless body of an unidentified female.
The body was found naked, with parts of the body mutilated, raising suspicion that the victim may have been killed elsewhere and later dumped at the junction, possibly to appear like a road accident.
Residents say the development has created fear and panic in the area, while some families within Weija-Gbawe have raised concerns about missing relatives, as police begin investigations.
The body has since been conveyed for further examination, and authorities are urging the public to remain calm and assist with any relevant information.
