The World Bank Group has expressed confidence in the leadership of President Akufo-Addo to turn things around despite the current micro-fiscal challenges.
Speaking in Accra at the Launch of SME grant, its Country Director, Pierre Laporte said Ghana holds huge potential to become the leader of effective development in Africa.
Mr. Laporte said despite the micro-challenges, he is confident that Ghana will rise through it.
He however called for reforms in public sector financing, key sector reforms and acceleration in the investment climate.
The Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Ibrahim Awal, said the IMF programme will help secure access to international funds to help develop the economy.
