The recent fashion among most female youths in the country and the world at large is the display of their nakedness which has called for a lot of discussions on the airwaves about the future of the youths in the country.

Reacting to this, Mrs. Linda Nyarko Yeboah, the Chief Executive officer of Abronoma Foundation, an NGO that seeks to address the welfare of women in the country has articulated that the recent blemish of most female youths displaying their nudes is a result of mishandling of social media and technology in the country.

She indicated that technology has a lot of positive impact on society but many people, especially the youth engage more in its negativities which goes a long way to devastate their lives and future.

Mrs. Linda Nyarko Yeboah indicated that most naked videos and pictures on social media are a result of the fact that most parents buy smartphones for their wards without having any concern about the contents they watch and posts on social media with their phones which influences them to post more of their nudes indicating that most naked pictures of female youths are a disgrace to womanhood. This may imply the notion that they are only objects of sex which is not the case.

“If you are into displaying your nudes to the whole world at this age, will you be happy with yourself in your old age when you realized what you did with your body in your youthful stage?”. she queried. She has therefore entreated all female youths to desist from that lifestyle and rather seek a productive future because they are not sex objects and their nudity can hugely cause them a lot of opportunities.

Mrs. Linda Nyarko Yeboah pleaded with parents to intensify their tone of advice to their wards and make them aware that such attitude toward naked broadcasting is against our customs and culture and to ensure proper monitoring of what they do with their phones to reduce the rate at which naked pictures and videos are published on social media platforms.
