Ghanaian blogger, vlogger, and media entrepreneur Zion Felix has expressed frustration over the sharp increase in electricity costs, comparing the situation under the current administration to that of former President Akufo-Addo’s tenure.
According to Zion Felix, he previously spent about GH₵2,000 on electricity, which would last between two to three months.
However, he says the same amount now barely lasts a few days, forcing him to spend nearly GH₵5,000 in a month despite not adding any new appliances or gadgets to his home.
Puzzled by the drastic change, Zion Felix questioned what has gone wrong and how the country has reached such a point, echoing concerns shared by many Ghanaians over the rising cost of living.
