20 pupils get scholarship package from Taifa, Adenta branches of ASA Saving

Two branches of ASA Saving and Loans company operating at Taifa and Adenta Business centres have rewarded their loyal customers’ children with an educational support package worth GHc10, 000.

Two branches of ASA Saving and Loans company operating at Taifa and Adenta Business centres have rewarded their loyal customers’ children with an educational support package worth GHc10, 000.

The gesture is part of its Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) of giving back to society within which they operate.

The Manager of Taifa Area, Ms Joana Odei Larbi said, 20 pupils benefited from the two branches.

She said, as part of giving back to society, rewarding loyal customers who have over the years been helpful to the growth of their business in the two areas.

According her, though they have various ways of reaching out to their customers, they decided this time to focus on supporting brilliants but needy pupils of their loyal customers.

Madam Christabel Akrong the branch manager for Taifa Business Centre explained that, each of the 20 pupils got a GH¢500.00 educational support package to aid their education.

Explaining the criteria adopted to settle on the beneficiaries, she said, the criteria for selection includes customers who have worked with the company for years and are credit worthy.

Madam Getrude Nuwobor for Adenta branch for her part urged the customers to continue doing business with them.

The financial institution’s main products and services are in two parts that is six months weekly loans purposely for women and the 10 months multi-six loans which also depend on the level of business.
