It was a sad incident at Ablekuma Park in the Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency of the Greater Accra, when a three-year-old boy lost his life after falling into a manhole.

The tragic incidence according to eyewitness happened on June, 2 at 8pmย closed to the Baptist Church.

The unidentified boyโ€™s falling was witnessed by a passerby who quickly raised an alarm, after which residents thronged the scene.

Pastor Michael, an eyewitness, said all efforts to reach Ghana Fire Service to aid in pumping out the water from the manhole was never successful.

According to him, some young men in the vicinity helped with a pumping machine to pump all the water from the manhole and finally saw the mortal remains of the boy.

The body of the deceased has been conveyed by the Anyaa Police pending investigations.
