Bono: Hon Siaka Stevens, GNPC provide boreholes to communities in Jaman North

The former member of Parliament for the people of Jaman North who was also the former deputy Bono regional minister Honorable Siaka Stevens in collaboration with the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has presented to some communities in the Jaman North constituency Borehole water system.

Some of the communities include Kabile, Jamera, Kokosua No 1 and Kokosua No 2

During an interaction with Nananom of some communities that benefited from the project, the former Member of Parliament stated that, his intention to construct a structure that will ensure the completion of Sampa border post resulted to the Borehole water projects.

He disclosed that during his term as member of Parliament, he penned to the GNPC for support to complete the construction of the Sampa Border post but was denied hence they insisted that the corporation could only support him with other social amenities like water and others which he said in the offing.

He therefore task Nananom of the communities that benefited to as a matter of urgency locate a site for the construction of the projects because it will begin within a shortest possible time.

Nana Shie-Dwo Patazin II chief of Jamera expressed his gratitude to Hon Siaka Stevens for the project. He added that despite his lost in the recent election, he must try as much as possible to offer all he can to support the development of Jaman North district.
